Upcoming meeting for Fall 2009:
Tuesday, November 1st @ 12:00 p.m.
I hope everyone is doing well and is having a great semester. I would like to remind everyone that our next SHIMA meeting will be held on Tuesday November 3rd at 12:00 p.m. During the meeting we will be preparing gift bags for the local Orlando hospital in celebration of HIT week. We will also be serving pizza so please bring your appetite.

This will be our first meeting of the fall semester and will be an excellent opportunity for old and new members to hang out and get to know what SHIMA has planned for the upcoming year.

FHIMA CCS & CCS-P Exam Prep Workshop - April 25th
UCF will be hosting this workshop for the Florida Health Information Management Association and we need your help! Volunteers will be needed throughout the day to help with signs, sign-in, and meal set-up. The event runs from 8:30-4:00. Please e-mail ucf_shima@yahoo.com to sign up to help!

Want to get more involved on campus? Want to have an impact on the health services provided to students at the UCF Health Center? Consider joining SHAC, the Student Health Advisory Council!
